Zona Hip Hop

I’m not very happy when i leave facebook with a click and i end up on addicting page that takes hours or days of my life. Still, with Kae’s SoundCloud page I was more than happy to close all other tabs and just relax to some good music for a few hours. I followed a link posted by Elaquent (more about him in a future post), producer/beatmaker that always brings a high dose of soul into his tracks. so.. Kae!
Kae was kind enough to give us a few details about her recently:
“I’m 25 years old, I’m actually from Belgrade, Serbia, but I’ve been living in Italy for the past five years and it was when I first came here that I started doing music more seriously.
Lately I’ve been posting tracks on my soundcloud page that some months ago ended up on a mixture – ‘Yasmine Bey mixture’, I didn’t planned on doing that, it was the blog www.rappamelo.com
, that downloaded the tracks and put them up, but i’m definitely really pleased with that. The most interesting thing about the songs on the mixtape, and more recent songs on my soundcloud page, is that I record them at home on my MacBook and mix them and put it online by myself. So it’s a really fast process and gives me a lot of great feedback that I can use to work better on new songs, let’s say in real time.
I’m on Elaquent’s new album, and be on some other stuff soon, plus I’m working on my EP – it’s going to be all original beats and music.
